Mark Moody of the Alabama State Bar's Office of General Counsel will discuss common ethical issues and common Bar complaints that criminal attorneys (defense attorneys and prosecutors) face in their practice by explaining the disciplinary process, tips to responding to a Bar complaint, and the most violated rules.

Join the Birmingham Bar's Criminal Justice Section to hear Mark Moody, Assistant General Counsel, Office of General Counsel of the Alabama State Bar, discuss common ethical issues that criminal attorneys (defense attorneys and prosecutors) face in their practice.  He will explain the disciplinary process, provide tips to responding to a Bar complaint, and discuss the most violated rules.

Lunch and introductions will be from 11:30 AM - 12:00 Noon, with the presentation from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.  Free for members of the BBA's Criminal Justice Section.  NonSection members may attend for $20.00.  Pre-registration is not required - register at the door.  Approved by the Alabama State Bar's MCLE Commission for 1.0 hour MCLE/Ethics credit.
