The Alabama State Bar's Diversity in the Profession Committee has organized the College Minority Pre-Law Conference at the Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Alabama in Birmingham. The aim of the conference is to function as a high-quality, comprehensive, local event designed specifically for aspiring minority lawyers. By providing resources and information, as well as the opportunity to expand their network in the Birmingham legal community, the conference is a tool to help increase the numbers of excellent, strategic and competitive minority law school applicants, students and graduates in Alabama and beyond.

Members of the Birmingham Bar Association are encouraged to join the college students and hosts of the conference for a reception at the Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Alabama located at the Robert S. Vance Federal Building, 1800 Fifth Avenue North, Birmingham, Alabama 35203. The reception will take place at 2:45pm-3:15pm, following closing remarks.
