The Birmingham Bar Association’s Solo/Small Firm Section focuses on providing support for our membership through free CLE programs each month, the sharing of management and marketing ideas, networking opportunities and social events throughout the year.
Members of our section enjoy many annual events, such as the Annual Softball Tournament with Judges and bar-b-que, the “Ott-Dog” lunch, the “Ought-Not” lunch featuring speaker Tony McLain and the annual summer and Christmas parties. The section also plans to offer a referral program which encourages members to refer to one another within the section.
In addition to these benefits, the Solo/Small Firm Section is committed to helping our community through various charitable and fundraising events.
Of the many benefits membership in our section has to offer, our CLE program provides each member the opportunity to earn all required CLE credits (including ethics) by attending free CLEs each month for just the cost of membership to the section. CLE topics range from developments in law and legislation in different practices to client building techniques to technological advances in the legal field.
Membership is open to any member of the Birmingham Bar Association. Annual Solo/Small Firm Section dues are $25.00 in addition to Regular dues. Please contact Tim Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
